probably has multipiece wheels that require the banding. I've seen some TPMS get urethaned on, but banding can be difficult if the installer is not experienced.

Stillhere... to run 2 piece rims, you have to strap the tpms sensor to the barrel. The valve hole is in the center of the rim (seen in the pic below), and the sensors won't mount that way.

Huh? Experienced tech? Folks on the 350Z forum have been banding tpms to thier Volks since 2003 using home depot shit:

1) Buy straps and brackets from discount tire.
2) Mount starps and brackets to barrel of rim, orient bracket opposite valve stem.
3) Install sensor nice and snug.

mlz, you get my PM?

What are you stumped on?

The bands come with mounting bracket... Everythign you need will be in the box.

Those iforged brackets are pretty cool, but for a little stamped steel bracket, hardly warrant the pirce.

wow makes sense that you'd have to have the tpms sensor inside the tire, but man that looks funny... probably requires more weights to balance

now I know...

Call em back... They have to send both bands and brackets.

Stillhere,
Actually, these balance easier than single piece wheels, as you can strap the sensor opposite the valve stem (both of which are of about equall weight).
