Passenger weight effects on dropped whips..

Passenger weight effects on dropped whips..
Here is the plan. I bought some Tein S techs off ebay ($170 shipped) and put in an order for some new 255/40/17 tires and will install here within a week or two on my 07 TLS.
Here is the context. One week out of every month, 3 coworkers and I hop in the whip and ride to different campuses during the day (I'm a HS teacher). That is a total of 850-900 pounds of human in the ride.
Here is the question. Am I begging for deep doodoo here or should I be straight? Will nearly 1000 lb's cause me to rub with these S techs and wide tires? Holler

Great comments and yes we are huge in Texas. On a side note I happen to be 6'1" 210 lbs and my coworkers around the same weight. Any constructive comments my peeps? I don't want to rupture my beloved V3 J pipe..

i think the v3 is tucked in pretty well...so ur fine with that....
but an additional 1000 pounds (250 each) will sure add a SHIT LOAD of stress on the suspension components....
i would suggest taking an SUV or riding in other persons car for a (permanent) change !!!

I think stress on the suspension won't be an issue but one thing that will come into play is how the weight in the back will change the geometry of the suspension.
I know as you push it down the camber changes but I think it also changes the toe.
What I have not been able to confirm if it toes it in or out more. I do know that with my camber kit I have the camber set at near neutral and I ended up with inner tire wear last summer and all my trips were loaded. The prior year there was no wear and the trips were empty.
In a couple months I'm going to stick it on an alignment rack again and pull/load it down and see how it changes the toe settings.
Something to think about.

^Indeed
It will only be five days out of every month that I'll have to carry around the added weight.
Here's another question. Will it make a dfference whether I let my new springs settle with my old tires rather than the new ones? In other words, should I put on my new tires first, second, or right before the alignment?
