Offset and Tire size??

I am looking to pick up a set of wheels and want to know which offset I should go with..

The wheels are 19"x8.5" and I want to run a 255/35/19 tire. I can choose either a 32 offset or a 38 offset. Currently I am on A-Spec suspension. I may decide to change it out for a bigger drop.

Which offset should I go with so I won't rub even with passengers. Obviously I want to get the most aggressive offset I can use.

What car do you drive??? Year, Model, Trim???

No way you gonna roll with a 255 tire without modifying your fenders and custom setting your camber settings...

Why do you want a 255 tire on a 8.5 wheel?

for more rim protection... I see a lot of people put 255 on the 8.5" a-spec rim.

245/35-19 will be good enough... just pothole dodge when you driving around these crappy roads

If I was to go with 245's, can I use the 32 offset without any problems?

if you went with the +32 you'd be super aggresive and it would look awesome... if you lowered it you'd have to find a custom negative camber setting that will prevent rubbing with the fenders... but if you rolled the fender you'd need to camber less... wheel tucking would require some more negative camber

imo I would go with the +38 which is still a very aggresive look with a 245 series tire... if for some reason you'd like to go more aggressive a 3mm spacer all around (harmless) would surely fix the look.... and is a method that can be reversed as opposed to rolling the fenders or getting the +32 offset

+32 with 245 in the front will rub if the car is to low. (My experience with 8.5x20 +32)

What were you dropped on? How much was the drop? Did the rear rub?

I'm using TEIN SS don't know how low the car was. The rear rub just a bit. Here's a pic.

The car was that low in the front for about 2 days. It was rubbing everywhere.
