I have searched through this entire thread looking for a 2006 WDP TL with gold center 19X8.5" Volk GT-S. I remember how HOT that car looked. I remember he got the wrong offset and had to use spacers. Where are those pics.

But ask this guy... his name is Dave and tell him Michael Schumacher sent you, he'll set up. fair warning, if the rims have to be special ordered, they can take up tot a year to deliver. thankfully I have never had to wait for more than 6 months... yes, they are worth the wait

I recently bought the Volk SF Challenges from Lembowski. Now I have a decision to make and wanted your feedback. The rims I bought are Silver but I have a 3G NBP TL. If I were to have bought the rims new I would have wanted them to look exactly like this:
Notice that the upraised tabs and Volk Racing around the outside are still machined. I went in to a local powder coating shop and they are willing to do the inner piece of the wheel (I'd probably have to go a gloss black) but they said that they could not leave the tabs with the machined/polished face. It's all or none. Argh! I think the look in the pic above would be sexy as hell on my car but it seems like that isn't an option with powdercoating as they said even if they taped it off the powder coating would still go in under the tape some and would not leave a clean edge.
So here are my options:
1. Leave the wheel as is, just get it cleaned and polished up.
2. Powercoat the entire inner piece black. I'm not sure if that would still look good or if someone would be interested in buying it down the road.
3. Try to find a place that would paint it. Would this option still be a solution that is durable?
Also does anyone know if the lip on these wheels is anodized? I was wanting to take them in to have the lips polished but not sure if that will harm anything.

..I would say just have the spokes painted black and leave the sections in between gunmetal.
