With spring fast approaching, I am looking for new tires also. I have seen these Firestones on tirerack, and they seem like a bargain, but I am wary because of the low reported mileage the reviews are based off of compared to other tires.

I ran the Nitto Neo Gen's on my old car with 18's with a drop less then 1 finger gap F/R last Spring-Summer. And When I took them off for Winter I had no uneven wear whatsoever. I like them, they handle great in the wet also.

Totally agree with Nitto's supporters.
I went with neo-gen's on my civic Si 4 years ago. Soon after, my wife wanted a set, and I got them for her civic sedan. Both sets wore perfect. NOT WINTER TIRES- found out on the first snowfall.
My Neo's lasted 3 summers -20K miles on my Si- almost always WOT, with a modded K20 pushing them! 30K+ for the wife, with very easy driving. For the price, they were worth every penny!
Haven't tried the Firestone's, and probably never will.
ps (If you get them, have another set for winter/snow. Hankook Ipike is what what I recommend- but the IceBears are more All season. Both are good for winter. We're using Falken Eurowinter's this season on her TL- I'm using Ipikes on my Integra. We are unstoppable in the snow!
