Newbie....Have a question

When looking at after market wheels , they list different wheels for automatic and 6 speed..are there any differences in the cars??????

I would not think so but never know?????

The 6MT has different brakes. That could imply some sort of geometry difference at the wheel.

He is correct - it's the brakes. The "spokes" of the wheel have to clear the brake calipers. Some wheels spokes curve back in towards the outside (rim) and could hit the calipers on a 6 speed.

Yes. A wheel that fits the 6MT "should" fit the 5AT. The stock wheels were designed to fit both (i.e. both cars have the same offset, width, and diameter, but it is designed to clear the 6MT brembos as well).

you're just noting that the oem rim fits both. aftermarket rims that fit AT may not fit MT...
