Thanks much!

I paid $1400 for the wheels and $844 foir the tires shipped, I could have gotten a little better deal, but I let a local BIG shop do all the ordering. They use all Hunter equipement and I believe they are the best place near me.

I am installing my Tein SS coilovers soon, then after they settle I will get an alignment, then put my Silver Hiro's on.

^^^I finally got the RV6 parts in.

And my V2

They are about 26#, but the Yoko's are a few # lighter then some heavier tires. I was going to get Michelin PS2 tires, but they are BIG $$$. 2 years ago I bought a set of 18" Volk RE-30 1 piece forged wheels that weighted only 17.5#, they looked good, but for $4,000 I was not happy, I should have bought 19" Volk GTS instead. I was younger and dumber. If I had unlimited $$$ I would have bought Gold center 19" Volk GT-S pad A +36mm wheels. I don't care for gold wheels, but the Volk GT-S gold is very light and looks HOT on WDP TL's.

OOPS

Let me help you out JD. I figure you would know how to post pictures properly by now. If you could remove the time stamp it would be nice too. Hurry up and install them Tein already. What kind of tire shine do you use?

Very nice.

How much did you lower your car ? My rear can only be lowered about an inch with these tires/wheels.

What do you have for suspension EVO ?

With my Yoko S-Drive 245/35/19" tires with the +35mm offset Hiro's I will only be able to lower the rear 1" and the front about 1.5". Good thing my Tein SS have a range of -0.9" to -2.5"

I FEEL SICK.

I curbed one of my new Hiro's yesterday. Not bad, but bad enough. I have been trying to locate another one for 2 days. Axis HAS discontined the Hiro. Good luck if you want them. A few sets are left @ Axis Home.

I hear alot of ppl curb their wheels andI just don't get it. If you can't park for shit then don't park where there is a chance you can curb it. The only thing is if you can't avoid a pothole and you damage your wheels like that.

$400 for just the wheel or the wheel, tire and TPMS sensor? If just the wheel, holy cow, that's a lot of money for Axis.

Can't you fix the damaged wheel? Usually good wheel repair shops can fix damaged wheels to almost 100% perfect.

Wasn't aware they were discontinuing the hiro's. These were one of my potential "future purchases". Since there are people in this thread with first hand knowledge, where are you finding them? Like I said, I was waiting awhile for new wheels so I haven't looked into it but may have to make a decision sooner than I planned.

i can tell you i've called at least 6 places today, i even called axis and they don't have any left. the ONLY way your going to find them is if, some company or someone has a inventory of them in stock at their house or store. other than that, they are sold out everywhere. reminds me of trying to locate the real RH C5 rims back in the day.

Axis Hiro's sell for $340 each 19"x8.5". I paid $370 plus shipping, I wasn't going to be picky on $30 after I found out they are discontinued.

As for curbing my new wheel, HOLLY CRAP I couldn't believe it, I have never done this b4. It was at a Tacobell drive through that has a really bad designed drive through.

It does happen to the best of us. I really felt friken stupid, IT WILL NOT happen again.

I can't believe they discontinued the Hiro...IMO their best design, and with ample BBK clearance.

If that is true, what a damn shame... sexy looking wheel.

But they are still showing on Axis' website
