I think this is the first third gen with a set of Vienna Kreis (correct me if I'm wrong). It's different from what is normally put on our cars, but I thought I'd give them a try and I love it!

All shots were from my iPhone, sorry if not up to par!

This guy is advertising these Aspec as off of a TL, but I think they're off one of the SUV's.

http://hartford.craigslist.org/pts/4349503275.html

Would 9.5 wide actually fit a TL ?

As to what vehicle those came from, I can not tell you but they wont fit the third gen without adapters. Also, 9.5 would fit fine on the TL. I am running 10" now and there are many others that run more aggressive (a few posts up is an 11.5").

None. Natural camber, 0 toe. I imagine that if I tried to fly into my driveway way too fast, that it may rub, but I'd probably also lose my front bumper too. Basically it doesn't rub under any normal circumstances that you'd encounter on a daily basis, although I haven't tried a four passenger run down a bumpy, twisty back road yet. I'll be sure to report back if it does.

Here's a closeup of how little clearance there is when pulling up into my driveway:

As promised, better pix. All in all I love this combo. The rear sits perfectly for what I was wanting, it's only the front that is out because (for whatever reason) Honda chose to make the front wheel gap ½" taller and the negative camber .7 less. Now I just have to figure out how to fix those things .

There are so many things that will effect the size of the lip. Off set, disk depth, width of rim. It all depends on what you want to go for.

Bakers, the size of the dish or lip is dependent on the offset and width mainly. Some designs, I.e. high disk and low disk can further change these settings but that's probably a little deeper than even the above average wheel buyer needso to know.

1. Stock offset is like 45ish on most cars.
Offset is where the wheel hub sits in relation to the entire rim or barrel. A 0 offset has the hub dead center of the rim or barrel.
A 45 oem offset puts the hub closer to the outside lip losing most of the dish.

Meaning a +25 or 25 offset will have a decent lip over the same wheels with 45 offset.
If you go negative offset you will likely have CRAZY dishes seeing as how even people with 10 or 15 can have pretty large lips.

2. Width. There is only so much lip a 8in wheel can have. Upgrading to a 9in wheel allows for a possible extra 1in lip.

Example. My wheels are 8in wide with 38 offset. The lip is about an inch. If I upgrade those lips to 2 inch lips the offset will go down to about 13 offset with a 9in wide wheel.

Rule of thumb. Lower offset more dish.
The 100% right way to do it is both wider wheels and lower offset. Just be sure you don't go too low and too wide at the same time because the two together can result in a lot of poke... like the tl you quoted on the vsxx.

im not usually a fan of the all black wheels with no contrast on cars but this looks tough great wheel design choices looks real dark knight like I also think the black head lights would set it off even nicer nice work
