Smile New rims! Varrstoen es2h

Haven't really been active on this forum for about 2 years now but I coughed up some monies to purchase these Varrstoens.

They're the new es2h that doesn't require heavy mods to fenders or camber adjustments. Although the walls are straighter than I thought they would be. I was chatting it up with one of the reps and was given the impression they would have some concavity to them but apparently not.
Still nice rims, I'm going to pair them up with the new Dunlop direzza dz102's (245/35/19) and see how they look

ES2-H Specs: 19x8.5 et35 matte black

Yeah, usually they are not concave until past x9. But nice set either way.

Sweet! I myself like the flat faced TE37s. Nice set! I didn't know they made more conservative sizes.

Interesting, I always thought they should bring something like this back. Here is a shot of my front set, 19x8.5 +35. Mine do have a bit of concavity, although nothing like my 9.5 +35 rears.

Just being my normal annoying self.

Try getting in the habit of saying wheels verse rims.
I know everyone says rims. But the rim is a small part of the wheel and just, to me, sounds uninformed.

Secondly. Why did this new design not require camber or heavy modding verse the previous ones needing it??

They look great mang. Any shots of the whole car??

Thanks guys.

JON - I think he is saying the thing about not needing modifications because for a while, ES2s were only available in pretty aggressive fitment, like 9.5 +22 and bigger for our cars. If you had Brembos, then you needed a 7mm spacer up front too, which just makes for a more aggressive fitment than a lot of people want on a daily driver.

And here is a pretty recent picture of the whole car, rest are in my thread.

Ahhhh. ^^ Makes sense.

The only thing I could figure was the Brembo situation and assumed it was a new high disk design verse low disk and assumed the OP just didn't know terminology if that were the case.

Fitment on that car looks pretty clean. I'd break neck for sure.

Hah, you're right. I was thinking "rims" as the whole part of the wheel.
And yeah, what KJ TL-S said vvv

Looking good

Black isn't my thing for wheels (mine were that originally, had them powdercoated), but the fit looks nice, and I think the drop is perfect!
