It's cool. I know we fiddled with the cup for a few minutes and it seemed more proper the way you are describing above.
It's pretty clear that their diagram of 3 pictures sucked ass. I even went to their homepage and they don't have the crap instructions any where accessible.
Probably check mine anyway. They did warranty yours? Koni is going learn the hard way that assuming people would know which end is up is a costly mistake, not to mention pretty dangerous. Most people who put a set of sport shocks on are interested in pushing their car harder and farther than they could with the stock setup. I'm getting more pissed about the installation instructions the more I think about this.

I ordered the supercup kit in early march, and the shock cups had stickers detailing which direction is correct, so I'm thinking all Konis have that now.

Looking for new mods
My shocks weren't busted at the cup. They broke at the lower mounting point and slid through the shock fork after a hard impact.

would anyone with the sport springs mind measuring their front and rear wheel gaps as well as specifying at/6mt and what perch they are on? Still trying to decide what perches to use. thanks!

I have the sport on the lowest perch and with my 18X8.5 A-spec I still have about a finger gap in the rear and no finger gap in the front but my car is AT you probably will have a little gap in the front since you are 6spd.
What size wheels you have?
