Thanks Kid... this is the last shot before they come off. My drop is not that much but next to that 4x4 it looks lower, specially since its dirty it makes my car look even cleaner.
Dude.. Sell your gravs to that guy... he is back on MOMOS.

tl_dinhsum...I called Neuspeed Friday and the sales guy said that the Konis were on back order till the middle of June and I called early Friday morning. Were you able to order a pair or are you just going to wait for them to come? And yes, he also told me they are going up $100 in June

Nuespeed Supercup kit has Dampering adjustability as well.
I will say the difference is that Tein you can use EDFC which makes esier to adjust the dampering from inside the cabin...... and the ease of adjusting height vs the perch system.
Other than that... Koni SP3 have 5 perches for height adjustability and Dampering control.
I hear teins are stiff even in the softess setting... I am still in the break in period.... so i have it set to softess ..the car is a bit floaty ... but feels stock even though its pretty low.

just wanted to clear something up for the OP regarding adjusting the dampening rate. For both Koni and Neuspeed, you'll have to pull the front tower bar and rear seat to adjust. Front, no biggie. Rear, serious PITA! I'll admit that pulling the rear seat gets easier after you've done it once.
By the way, just dialed my Koni yellow's up from full soft break in to one full turn stiffer (mid-setting)...damn! It felt very stock before and I think it wasn't keeping up with the H&R springs overall. Dialed them up a notch and whoaaa, go kart!

^^^^perches dont affect stiffeness.. Perches are for height adjustment.
Koni stiffeness in the front are plain simple if u have Richie V6 strut bar

^what jj said.
and be very careful when setting the ride height. on the Koni's, not only does it have the 'perches' but, the spring cup was reversible to further adjust ride height. i would lay each corner out and make them identical before installing

^^^ Dude are you serious? First time I hear about the cup being riversible..... Hummm. I am wondering if thats why the wanderes car is a bit lower than mine even though we are on the same exact perch and setup.

Those Ikea universal type picture instructions included with the Koni's were mind bottling.

Yeah, bro. Pops and I didn't notice that until we had already installed one strut. We looked at the difference between reversing the cup and it would be quite noticeable, like a 1/2" or better.

Makes sense now... I was talkign to Rodneyc77 yesterdays and he explained it. But if you reverse it.. you taking away from the drop right?

i just dropped the front struts to the 2nd perch and left the rear on the 3rd perch. since i have a 6MT, i think it gives the car a more "even looking" stance. updated pics are here --> https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-photograph-gallery-96/da-kid-got-some-new-goodies-whip-728653/

It means that there are probably 10 or more combinations of ride height adjustment with the Koni Yellows that I did not expect. Awesome set of shocks for $600 and a lifetime guaranty (although that sounds too good to be true)!

Mounting them upside down can DAMAGE your shocks.
Nobody listen to nedshneebly, he has no idea what he's talking about.
Neuspeed ships the konis out now with a sticker on the spring cups saying "THIS SIDE OUT".

The silver spring cups are NOT reversible!! They were only designed to be mounted one way: _/\_

Why you calling me out. Mine are in correctly and my shocks work like a champ. 3 other posters and I were talking about how weird it was that they looked to be mountable either direction.
Guess what, if they get damaged because of that there's a lifetime guaranty and they will be replacing a lot of shocks until they come up with better installation diagrams.
damn kids.

easy, Killer. That sticker wasn't on my set and I don't see how it could damage them. The looked completely reversible and held the spring perfectly either way.

Those cups are not designed to be mounted like that and the chance of them breaking or bending is much greater the way you mounted them.
I'm not talking out of my ass either. I was at neuspeed headquarters about two months ago with busted shocks and the first question they asked me was how I mounted the shock plates, followed by an explanation of why they should only be mounted like _/\_

I just don't want to see anybody making the same mistake.

It's pretty clear that their diagram of 3 pictures sucked ass. I even went to their homepage and they don't have the crap instructions any where accessible.
Probably check mine anyway. They did warranty yours? Koni is going learn the hard way that assuming people would know which end is up is a costly mistake, not to mention pretty dangerous. Most people who put a set of sport shocks on are interested in pushing their car harder and farther than they could with the stock setup. I'm getting more pissed about the installation instructions the more I think about this.

There is no super cup kit available for the TL yet, so everyone who got a supercup kit got the accord version. You might be able to get neuspeed to swap in the TL springs with the accord koni's but I dont think its going to make much a difference anyways.

what i was talking about is the neuspeed has the green springs on the tl. . .
instead of swapping out the accord to accord springim going to swap accord to the tL sport spring that is 1.80F/1.70R drop would the TL Sport spring fit that koni yellow?
