Need help on replacement shocks on '07 Type S

Hello everyone,
My drivers side front shock is blown and gives a nice uncomfortable and nosiy ride now. I would like to know which shock I should purchase to replace this one with. Would Tokico be the best way to go? Would it be smarter to replace all 4 at once or can I get away with just replacing one. I also don't want to drop this car at all so im looking to try to keep near stock height.

THank you very much,
David

Edit: The car has around 45k miles on it now, and I purchased it around ~37k and as far as I remember the shock was already leaking then, so its been a long time coming lol.

I have the red Tokico HTS and love them. They don't lower the car, but do have the added benefit of adjusting dampening. XLR8 sells them, but you'll have to look under Honda accord.

If you don't need any type of adjustable dampening then the Tokico blues are great too. I had them on my acura integra.

Yeah this is just my daily driver, I already have a car with coilovers if I really feel like pushing it lol. So I am just looking for something I can replace that one shock with as a pretty close oem replacement.

I don't recommend replacing just one because the damping will be unbalanced from side to side. This is potentially unsafe. If you're going to replace shocks it's better to do it in pairs, two front or two rear. My

Replace with OEM shock, a little costly but will have the same valve pressures, if not, replace both front shocks of your choice.

Thanks for the link, Are they the same thing as the TL tokico blue shocks, or is that what everyone uses? Are there any major difference between them and the OEM ones?

If you don't want to spend a lot of money, I'd get a pair of Koni Yellows for the front. Best adjustable shock for the money, IMO.

anyone know if the tokico blue shocks are as stiff as the type s oem shock? I know it'll fit but I don't want it to be softer than oem

I just ordered a pair of front tokico blues shocks for my 05 TL. I am also wondering, has anybody paired the tokico blues with type-s springs onto a non type-s? If done, how would that ride?
