TLS Wheels suck

I've had the wheels stolen on my 07' TLS 3 years ago which were replaced, i've gouged 2 of them since too. Last year I started getting that vibration at 65/70 mph & it turned out to be 2 bent wheels so I replaced them. Everything was fine until today when the vibration is back. The wheel weights are all on the car, tire pressures normal but the vibration is defintely there. I'm done with replacing the stock wheels, they are garbage, poorly made/constructed & bend if you run over a pencil. Just gonna live with it now. I've never owned a car with so many wheel/vibration problems in my life. I guess Acura likes the business of selling new wheels. $$$$

Were the new ones OEM or replicas?

I've never had a problem with my OEM wheels, the 04-06 stockies or the A-Specs.

Maybe you need to watch out for potholes?

Hmm....not experienced the problems you're talking about. I've "kissed" my wheels when I've tried to park too close to curbs (so I don't get door dings). And in the process, I've scraped my wheels instead.

I've never had a problem with mine.

The OEM wheels are not crap. You curbed checked them, that is your fault. Maybe you can take them to a tire or wheel shop to get the dynamically balanced.

OEM Acura wheels are well built. Enkei makes them.
You must live in Pot Hole city

I replace at least 1 wheel a year on average due to bending. It comes from hitting pot holes.

Stock wheels are pretty decent actually. As RetardedOrange said, the problem is your NJ roads. THEY SUCK!

I had the same exact issue on my Type S, it's most definitely your tires you have. Do they all have sufficient wear? I'd get new tires if you haven't already. I love Michelin's Pilot Super Sport tire. Amazing grip! :P

I took off my TL-S wheels last week, and cleaned them today. They look brand new, with 43K on them. 2 little flaws on 2 wheels and 1 of them happened when the asshole at the Tire shop put a nice little nick on them. I think you are just not really careful like most of us when driving. I drive like a pussy when I know there are bad roads.

No issues with mine either. They look a drive just like they did when I bought the car 3 1/2 years ago.

Even then you'd be alright. I've hit DEEP invisible potholes going 80mph with my waffle wheels on several occasions.

Enkei makes strong wheels haha, not sure how bad a curb has to be to bend the type-s wheels
