Need help picking a rim size

Well Ive been looking through the forum but I havent gotten a straight answer for what Im looking for. I have a 2004 TL 6 spd manual w/stock wheels on it. I want to buy rims for is but I dont know what size would be best fit for it. Im between a 19" or 20" rim. I dont want turning radius or rubbing issues. What is the exact size rim and tire should I go with? And will I need spacers also? Im definitely not an expert. So Im put the question out there for the ones that have more experience in the field than me.

Personally I would go 18". I wouldn't want to go less than a 40 series tire, for daily driving a 3G TL. I think 20" is just too big for these cars, 19" looks good with a drop but a 35 sidewall is not much tire if comfort is in the equation.

Where I live the roads are hit and miss, and thin sidewall tires would suck for a DD.

18s ftw. Get at least a 8" width.

18's are nice on these cars, but can look rather small depending on the style you choose. I took the middle ground and went with 19's with a 235/35 tire and they ride very comfortably and in combination with my coilovers the ride quality really isn't much different than stock. 20's are just too big for the 3G. Some have pulled them off and they look great, but they are few and far between. Most that put 20's on fail epically and aren't able to lower the car enough to make them look good.

18x9 +45 Nitto NT05 255/40. I answered all the questions you'll have in life. Are wheel sizes seriously the only fucking question ever posted on this forum?

That's why I hang out in Tires/Suspension instead of Performance. I thought I had escaped those questions.

Chris you stay whoring out your car

I agree that 19s look the best but 18s give the best balance between performance and looks.

The only wheels that look good on the TL at the stock ride height are OEM wheels (just ask Tyler). I'd consider Acura A-Spec wheels.
