Question Need a guru.

Ok hi, Im new here to the forums as u guys can see but I need some opinions on this deal and see if these rims+tires will fit on my 99 TL one quick note he says the they will fit here is the link for the wheels http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=43960

Here is the first e-mail i send him L337 wrote:
I am very interestead in your auction but before I make a bid I would like to know if these rims fit my car. I have a 1999 Acura TL 3.2, if these rims do not fit I like the brand and style, maybe you have something similar that would work possibly even 18 or 19 inches. Your responce is greatly appreciated, look forward to doing business with you. Thanks

Looking from the items listed that you said will fit my car, I'm interested in your item #2460276986 the Lexani Slate Chrome wheels/rims 5x4.5 20 I would prefer to buy the rim and tire package but site unseen I need a little bit of your experienced advice. I can only image what my car would look like but dont want to be dissappointed after my purchase. You give a choice of two tires in the auction, which do you feel would look best? What is the difference when it comes to size and fitting the car best? Also, these tires are they strictly for racing and high performance or are they all weather tires that will work all year around. By chance you might have an image of a rim mounted on the tires you offer in the auction so I can get a visual if you do please forward a picture. Again I appreciate your help in making my purchase easier

Your car actually needs a 225/35-20 to fit without rubbing. This tire size would be a Nitto NT555 and that package runs $1595.00(Rims)+$899.00(Tire Package)=$2494.00 + Shipping(email me your zip code)
I hope u guys are feeling me now the reason why i asking for your inputs is because i been reading a lot of forums and every1 said that 20's wont fit and other say that it will fit so i dont know what to do? I also wonder if hes lying?
What do u guys think?

8.5" with +42 offset?? BWAHAHAHA!! j/k.
Keep on looking cause that ain't gonna fit. Max width should be 8" with a minimum +50 offset.
BTW welcome to A-TL.com.

I just got 19"s that look nice to me, but not to a lot of other people. If these wheels will fit your car and you like it, go for it! Just keep in mind of how heavy they are and how that will affect your cars performance.

Yeah, you will prolly have very big problwms with trying to fit 20's on your TL. Not worth it IMO. Go with a nice set of 19's and make sure they are the correct size:

19x7.5 +45 offset 225/35/19
19x8 +50 offset 225/35/19 or 235/35/19
