Mystery Wheels on '08 Type S
Can anyone give the heads up on these wheels, they look OEM for the TYPE S but they do not have the Dark Grey Tint on them, was just plain silver available. Looking at buying this and want to make sure it is factory wheels.

He had the rims painted.
26k seems a little high. Is it an 07 or 08? Also make sure to run a CARFAX and look at the car, make sure bumper VIN numbers match and the car is in good condition.

I guess thay listed it extremely high just to see what the traffic will bear as it was justed listed 4/28, but certaily overpriced in my book.
Hard to tell from pictures, but the BFG's look far from new and worn on the inside, but for that price, the tires, brakes, everything should be new.

Wheels can be either painted or replicas, Paying 26K is a lot before i purchased my car i was looking into the TL-S but cheapest i found was 24K + over 50k miles and to me thats a lot .

Def not oem wheels. Looks like they don't even have emblem center caps. Id make sure they are oem wheels. They don't even have the michellin tires.
And with 40k miles, 26k seems like way to much. I know its blue. But u have replica wheels. Shit tires. I wouldn't pay more then 22k

The price is on the high side, but NADA retail is still $25,800 (if it's automatic),then factor in the value of it being certified and I'm not surprised the dealer is starting at 26k. Also consider the facts the used car market is at its absolute strongest ever and many people are repulsed by the 4G. Clean trade-in value is $22,225, so you don't have a prayer getting it that low certified.

If you really like it, it's in good shape and the carfax is clean, start at ~23k and work up from there. When you're ~$500 apart, bring up the tires and agree to their last price if they replace them. The mileage is low.

I like these wheels better in silver than gunmetal color they come in.
