Manaray Sport or SSR
Hey Everyone,
I've been looking for rims for quite some time now, and I think I've narrowed it down to two different rims. I'm thinking about the Manaray Sport VR5 Quests +48 or the SSR GT3's +50 (I think). I know the quality of the SSR's is very high, but how much do they weigh? Also, does anyone know if they Manaray Sports are made well? I know they come with a good warranty, but just wanted to know if anyone had any personal experience with them. I would get both of these rims in the 18x7.5 size.

Definately get the GT3.. although they may be more expensive than the manaray
The SSR will most likely be less than 20lbs each.. SSR are one of the lightest wheels available.. plus, these are beautiful wheels..

OZ Superleggeras 18x7 are only 16.5 lbs each.

you can ask TUFF GONG about the weight of the gt3's...he has the 18x8s with a 49 offset on 225/40 bridgestone s03's. the last time i checked with tirerack, this setup was a little bit over $3K. i think when snook was offering those wheels, it was right about $2K. if it was me, i think i would get the ssr wheels because of the name and their ssf quality. but you gotta go with what you like more...looks, build quality, price, etc.

Well, I like the looks of the Manarays more I think, and they're both around the same relative price. I just don't know what to do...anymore feedback from anyone would be great with reasons why. Also if anyone else likes any different rims in that same style I'm open to suggestions.

I shoot people
correct me, if I'm wrong but...
...aren't the Manaray wheels just "wanna be" 3 piece wheels? And the SSR "real" 3 piece?
