Looking into Eibach springs

Hey guys, I have an opportunity to get eibach springs at a really good price. I know many of you suggest coilovers, but I'm not looking for anything that serious. Ideally I'd like A-spec suspension, but this is much more cost effective right now.

I'm only looking for a slightly sportier ride, with a minimal drop. Would I need a camber kit with the eibach kit?

What are your opinions?

That kit will only lower you down about an inch. Assuming you don't have any suspension components that need replacing, you shouldn't need a camber kit as you will most likely be within spec.

Eibach Prokit lowers 1.5" to 1.7" after settling, speaking from me who ran them for 7 years with Koni yellow adjustable shocks. H&R OE Sport is the one that lowers 1" after settling.

You WILL need a rear camber kit because you'll go over -2 degree of camber in the rear. Get SPC, not Ingalls.

Well, I picked them up and they're basically brand new. I'll install them with my OEM shocks and then have the alignment checked out of curiosity (they typically check for free here).

Thanks guys

You are wasting money if you aren't pairing them with performance shocks. You will always wear out the stock shocks faster because Eibach Prokit has way higher spring rate than stock springs.

Definitely should pair these springs with a shock like the Koni Yellow.

Do you have any pictures of the drop? Ride quality/stiffness?

I'm about to pull the trigger on these springs and I've been set on yellows since the beginning.

thanks

I drove on the Eibach Prokit + Koni yellow adjustable shocks for 7 years on my old 98 Accord. I can probably find pictures but it's been 10 years. The ride quality is decent with the front shocks on 1 full turn and the rear shocks on 3/4 of a turn. It is stiff, but it isn't intolerable. Cornering is way better. I now have a 07 Accord V6 on HFP suspension and the HFP is soft compared to the Eibach/Koni setup.

I was thinking you had the setup on a TL. Good info either way, thank you.

Get the springs.. and save up for when your struts do go. It wont be overnight.. by the time they go out you'll probably have enough for a better setup!

Hey guys, thanks for the input. I've actually decided that I'd rather only do the necessary work (and alignments) once. With that in mind I'm saving up for an A-spec suspension setup.

Here are my Eibach springs in the Black Market: https://acurazine.com/forums/car-par...prings-930886/
