Arrow Looking to buy some Volks!!

I have a 2008 Black Acura TL Type S. I would like to know what offsets will work with 19 and 20'' wheels. I have in mind the GT-Force and GT-V in chrome. and also where did you guys order your wheels from, and how long was the wait time. Wouldnt mind paying a great price for them. I like the staggered loook. . I know I have to get the high caliper option in order to clear the big brakes in the front. Was wondering was size tires will not rub. I am not dropping the car by no means.

I would also like to see if the TPMS are compatible with these wheels, or if some modifications would have to be done with them.

I just put a set of GT-S's on my car. Was told 60 days it took 4 1/2 months which seems to be the norm with them. Make sure you get center caps as they will not include them and also a nice set of lugs. They come with chrome ones so that might be fine for you.

TPMS sensors will not bolt directly in. Don't listen to what they tell you they won't work. You will have to purchase the straps with brackets or the iforge bracket. I did the straps with bracket for each wheel and they work just fine.

I ordered mine Type S specific. So they built them in 19 X 8.5 with a "high disk" and 36mm offset. I have 245/35/19 sized tires, the car is slammed on TEIN SS and there is only a slight rub in the front when going up a hill at at slow speed with the wheels turned. So its pretty much a non issue.

Volk also told me those tires would not fit correctly but I knew they would from research here. The wheels fit the car PERFECT in that exact sizing I gave you.

pictures are good. if you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for them? I know they don't offer the GTV in 20's, that would be hot though. You didn't like the staggered look?

There is a whole thread in the pics section should be on page 1 or 2.

No I'm not a fan of the staggered setup. Pointless in my opinion on a FWD and you can't rotate the tires.

$4K for wheels with tires.

your car will look like an suv without a drop. and on chrome wheels?!? might as well get an escalade. offset doesn't matter whether it be 19 or 20 inch wheels. its a combination of width and offset.

My TEIN system on a "softer" setting is a more comfortable ride compared to the stock Type S suspension that was on the car.

it's kinda pointless to get volks and not drop the car. u get volks cus they look good. if ur just gonna keep the stock suspension on, just keep the stock wheels cus 19 or 20's without a drop isn't going to look good at all
