Largest spacers before longer studs needed?
Largest spacers before longer studs needed?
What is the max size spacers that can be used before I would need longer studs? I just bought some wheels 18x8 +45. I know Im going to need spacers to clear brembos but will I need longer studs as well, if I go with something like 10mm spacers?
Stock wheel offset is +42 isn't it? Will you really need spacers? And if so, why would you use 10mm?
So I just took off my stock type s wheels and found out they are +45... I always thought they were +35 for some reason
Anyway, I also test fit my new wheels yesterday. Looks like I will need at least 8mm spacers to make them fit properly. But at 8mm i only have <1mm of clearance from wheel spoke to caliper at the narrowest point on the front. Id like to have at least 2-3mm clearance. So now I need longer studs but I dont want to get something too long. I dont like open ended lugs
