I installed Koni yellows on my car a week ago. It had Tein Basic initially, but it was removed because I was considering selling the car. Anyway, I didn't sell the car but the Tein was already sold, so I bought Koni yellows, paired with Eibach Prokit. I lowered the front spring perch so the front sits a touch lower than the rear.

Koni at its softest setting rides a lot softer than Tein Basic, but at 1 full turn, it's about the same as the Tein and it goes up from there. In fact, Koni at its softest setting is softer than OEM that the car feels a little floaty at times.

Right now I set it at 1/2 turn front and back and I find it comfortable and very close to stock ride. I tried the 2 full turns front and back and the car changes character from a comfy cruiser to cornering machine. The car felt very sharp and sensitive and takes corners just like that! But it's too stiff for normal driving.

With the front perch lowered, the car (6MT) is about 1.2"/1" lower than stock. With stock wheels, there's 1 tight finger gap in the front and 1 finger gap in the back.

Bought it from a guy off www.v6performance.net. Paid $480 for a brand new set.

Ebay has them for about $550-570 shipped. Search not only for TL, but for TSX and Accord as well, because some sellers actually don't know that they all share the same shocks.

Do you have any pics of how the car looks? Just wondering the major difference with the prokits installed, as I am going the same route. Thanks!

260 HP, Thanks alot for the info!!

One more question... My car has stock suspension, and you know the thing under the front bumper section (I don't know what it is, but it's there), it scrapes all the time whenever I go over dips..... I'm afraid that if I lower my car, the THING will scrape like crazy... I hope you know what I'm talking about...

Generally, do you get any hard times with your car lowered? That's the only obstacle for me to lower my car.....

Thank You!

Check out my thread in the Photo Gallery section. Just posted some pics there.

JS + TL:
I know what you mean. Indeed, I take bumps, dips, driveways at an angle anyways, but that thing (called strake) does scrape a lot. But don't worry.... That part is designed to scrape. When they're all beaten up, replacement part isn't too expensive from the stealer.

Generally, the TL only LOOKS low, but it's not that low. When I had Tein Basic, the car is about 2" lower front and back, and besides that strake, nothing else scrapes. So, no hard time for me. But you do have to be more careful.
