Just a simple A-Spec Suspension Question

I have an 04 TL with Automatic Transmission. I would like to purchase a set of A-Spec Suspension for Manual Transmission.

Is there a difference between the 04 to 06 MT A-spec and 07 to 08 MT A-spec? Will the 07 to 08 MT A-Spec fit on an 04 TL?

If both will fit, which of the two will have a firmer ride? Thanks in advance.

more than likely the type-s 6mt suspension would be the firmer one do to it being heavier BUT the 04-06 6mt suspension will give more of a drop

thanks but I thought that there is also an 07-08 aspec for MT that is not Type S. Is this true?

I just wanted to compare the 04-06 MT aspec and the 07-08 MT aspec and not the type S suspension.

Can anyone else confirm if there's such thing as an 07-08 MT aspec but not type S? If so, will this fit on an 04 model? Is this a firmer ride than the 04-06 MT Aspec?

^^there is not a 6MT available for 07-08 period!...lol. but nah seriously, the only 6MT available for 07-08 models IS the type-s. 07-08 base models had the auto 5AT standard w/o a 6MT option

Thanks bro for clearing that up for me. Will the 07-08 MT Type S suspension fit on an 04 TL? How much drop do you think will I get with this? Or will I ever get a drop at all? Are these A-Spec as well?

type-s suspension will give you NO drop! type-s a-spec will tho....how much? im not sure. what is ur main goal? drop? or firm feel? if it is drop over firm feel than i would just get the 04-06 6mt a-spec. if firmness is more important, get the 07-08 6mt a-spec suspension.

all a-spec/type-s suspension options are interchangable on our cars. so fitment will NOT be a problem

The rear springs on the type-s aspec suspension are firmer to go a long with the firmer roll bars on the type-s.

I just purchased and installed recently the A spec M/T 08 version too they sent me. It does have a good drop compared to what it used to be. It's firm enough for most. I updated my rear and front sway bars too. Which made it insanely stiff compared to stock. the thing is nothing like it was before... I am pleased. I'd go for the A spec 04-08. I cant see how much better it'd be. But I can't really speculate since I havent felt an Aspec Type S.

Awesome OEM suspension though. My gosh!

Are you positive about this? If it's true, this would be the setup to purchase if you have the ultra stiff H&R FSB to balance out the handling. It took a ton of tuning to get the balance fairly neutral due to the stiffness of the bar and stiffer rear springs would've been the answer.

I have an 05 NBP 6 MT and just installed the 07-08 mt A spec suspension as Acura Canada didn't have any 04-06 mt kits in warehouse. I have the 18x8.5 A spec wheels with 265/35-18s. It is a little firmer riding, not bad, haven't attacked a corner in anger yet (just installed 2 days ago). I did measure the wheelwell height before and after:
LF 26.4 (25.8) RF 26.6 (26.0)
LR 26.5 (26.1) RR 26.5 (26.1)
Was hoping for a bit more drop, but it's okay. Will try to get some pics up.
