paz840, glad you got it in. I totally had the same problem at home depot and they didn't have it at all either. However the ace hardware I went to kind gave me the same look but he took me over to the area where they should be if they had them and lo and behold there they were! They were cap head instead of button head but worked just as great.

darksom1, i did a search trying to find it, but the key words that I think will bring up the thread are too short. Don't quote me on this but I think I remember something like the person stating that the 22mm CT RSB provides a 400% plus improvement over the stock 17mm on the AT and a 46% improvement over the 20mm stock MT RSB. I have a thing for numbers so I think that is close to what the thread said.

As for the improvement percentage on the stock 17mm RSB, I can believe it. It is a night and day difference. If anyone remembers that thread or knows that the numbers above are not correct please feel free to post up as I'm pulling it from memory when I did my research on the RSB.

Did Buda and Kennedy ever figure out that one was talking PITCh while the other was talking LENGTH? They were both probably right in that there are more LENGTHS than a 1 and one quarter inch bolt but also that the 8mm ONLY comes in a 1.25 PITCH (angle of threading vs. course or fine, etc).

Yes, we both know what we were talking about and that we are saying the same thing. The difference in terminology however is important depending on where you buy the item.

So if you buy online it's M8x25 at some of the web links in other threads. If you go to the local hardware store and they look lost when you say M8x25, restate it as M8x1.25 at 25mm long and you'll see the light above their head turn on.

FYI, the guy at home depot said they had 1.0 pitch and no 1.25 pitch.... go figure.

I just installed the CT RSB on my 06' 5AT and I do have to admit driving the corners are night and day compared to stock! I'm using the stock bushings for now because the ES appear to be backordered into Feb 2007. I'll change them out if I hear the squeaking noise everyone is talking about. No noise yet and that's w/o grease.

Like other posts, installation was very simple! No need to remove the exhaust and the only time I needed to jack up one side of the rear was to remove (and install) the rsb after it was unbolted. Installation took only about an hour.

I bought the rsb from my local Acura dealer (Oakland) for $110! I e-mailed them and asked what their cost was regarding the CT rsb. I also said the lowest price I found on the Internet was $116 and if they could match it. He did one better and gave me the price of $110! I told him to hold it for me and I picked it up the same day!

I've been going to this dealer since the early 90's for multiple cars in the family. Hopefully you have a good relationship with your local dealer and they are willing to work with you on matching prices. It doesn't hurt to ask anyway!
