I let like 2 photos slip in my wheel fitment thread, but it was FINALLY nice outside today so i could wash the car and wax the wheels.... Even though i dont like black wheels, i think these are a GREAT fitment for my car, and they really run well with the color theme i got going on.... could you believe i was able to find a BRAND new set, with perfect fitment for our car? as you may know, these wheels were discontinued in 2005

Look's great, definately a nice choice of wheels. Goes well with your hood and your headlamps. Only thing I see they are 45 offset, ever thought about even a 5mm spacer? Not trying to be a dick, just curious if you would ever do that. Just to bring the wheels out alittle more.

ya know... funny thing about that...

i did NOT want to use a spacer in order to make other wheels clear the brakes... thats why i went with these wheels, becaues a spacer is not needed

but once i mounted them up, the fronts appear to need like a 3mm - 5mm spacer to bring it really flush with the fender.... it would look better IMO, but i spent so much money on not having to use spacers, that i would be pissed at myself if i did it

the fronts are A-Disk to clear the brakes, rears are B-Disk for bigger lips


i have definitely been getting the looks from people with these wheels on.... so

they really grew on me

 

i LLOOVVEE that rear wheel... fuck, wish i could have that setup all around.. that lip is pure sex... and the best part about it all, is no fender rolling needed!! it clears with literally, less than 2mm of space.... i got lucky

Blackura looking sweet as always. I am planning to paint my brembo calipers this weekend so are you gonna paint yours red or are you gonna leave them black to match the rims?

 

yes i do want to paint mine... but have been skeptical...originally i was going to powder coat them, but that was a failure.. since these calipers can not be reassembled (the seals around the pistons)

report back with how it came out and the paint you used, also, if you sand, what grits etc.etc

they might be getting a custom painting when i take them off for the winter.. i could see a gunmetal, dark metallic grey, or something like that

 

thought about painting the roof, but everybody says i would have to do the trunk too.... or a CF trunk, and unfortunately, nobody makes a CF trunk....

FYI, these wheels have a serious glossy/pearl paint on the face... pics just dont do it justice..

nah man but honestly I am glad you atleast test fitted them before getting the face redone... I think it looks sexxxy as fuck... but you will surely have to take the front plate off for hot import night

i found a way to get in and out without scraping..... slowly, sideways, and can only put out with the rear facing west

dude. i cant go any lower... ill tear the car apart... im only down about 1.7/1.8" but i can barely drive anywhere as it is...


as for removing the plate, apparantly some douschebag in the city backed into my front plate.. sure, it looks fine now.. but if i remove the plate holders, theres an indentation on the bumper :angry: ... sucks

 

Hot looking wheels!! The black wheels really compliments your CF hood. It goes well together. Love the crazy 4inch rear lips...they look PHAT!!!

keep your calipers black..it makes the wheels look better. If you paint them red or any other color it would look odd and take away from the wheels. imo . I have black wheels I have black calipers.....looks hella better than having silver or red ones.
