Any negative effects to the ride, handling, acceleration? Those rims must weigh a ton.
Nice rims, but I've always figured in my head that anything above 19 inches on a sports car was a no-no.

The Type-S is a sporty sedan however, but its far from a real sports sedan. Same goes for the IS350 and G35

well either way, they do affect the ride and performance a little bit... nothing drastic, but noticeable...
my tires havent broken in officially yet either, (only about 300 miles) but i noticed a great improvement in grippy-ness and the car does feel more planted to the ground

These aren't the only two sites that call it a "sports sedan", but I figured other websites wouldn't be up to par for you.

According to edmunds, you can get a Corolla S, which gives it the sports sedan look.

Apparently, the Civic Si is a sports car as well.
Point is, "sports" sedan/coupe is thrown around to freely. You originally called the TL-S a sports car, then changed your mind to sports sedan. Its more of a marketing ploy than anything right now, and it seems to have worked quite a number on you. Go drive a E90 M3, Audi RS4, or C63 AMG and come back and tell me the TL-S, G35, or Lexus IS are still "sports" sedans. Anyways, i'm not going to ruin Black's thread arguing with someone who just got their license.

anybody have negative comments lol? i wont take it personal, i can handle critique....
the only thing i dont like too much (aside from being black) is the front wheels' face is really pushed out... even though it has a 2.75" lip, you cant really see it too well.... the rear wheel is soo bad ass with its 4" lip, and the face is pressed back... so its like a HUGE noticeable difference between the front and back, even though the wheel is only 1" wider, it looks like 2" wider

oh, and also.. its hard to tell from the pics, but the face is a very very glossy/pearl black... these wheels would probably look insane on an NBP, because of the blue sparkle/pearl accents in the paint of both the wheel and the NBP

the lips are a little dull (polished, not chrome) and they've been sitting in boxes for almost 2 years, so they could probably use a good brightening/polishing
before i took these pics, i threw some wheel wax on the face... what do you guys suggest for polishing the lip? regular ol' mothers polish? or anything good out there that wont destroy/corrode the finish

Treat it just like the paint on your car. Including wax!!! Be sure to use a liquid wax that does not include 'nuba because it does not have as high of a temperature tolerance

1. Hell yes the C63, RS4, and IS-F are sports sedans, but just because they're a second faster to 60 than the TL-S doesn't make it that the TL-S isn't a sports sedan as well.
2. According to Wikipedia (which I normally trust on topics that aren't controversial, such as "sports sedans"), "A sports sedan is a descriptive term applied to a sedan or saloon automobile that is designed to look and feel "sporty". Civic Si and Mazda 6 look sporty with spoilers and body kits, they're sports sedans.
3. A car can be a sedan and vice versa, last time I checked. I was just using a better word.
4. Last part, I got my Class C license almost 15 months ago, I wouldn't call that JUST getting my license. Also got my M1 license last month.
If you've got anything else to say, be it personal or related to the topic, please say it.
And I'm out...
EDIT: I drove my uncle's C63 last week. Calling that a sports sedan is like calling a 747 a paper airplane.

Regarding age comments, you grow up a lot in 2 years .. you'll too realize that.
Back on topic, very nice wheels by the way. I am too wondering how they will look on an NBP.... .

yup those are them... that website pisses me off though... they dont carry those wheels.... if you do a massive internet search, the only thing you will find brand new is 19" Chrome 203's with BMW offsets
