IS350 wheels on TL?

http://i490.photobucket.com/albums/r...0266601777.jpg

Not sure if that pic is gonna work. Anyone seen these on a TL? I think it may look pretty good. Not sure of the offset, I believe they are 18 x 8.5

^Yeah I know who you're talking about too.

The wheels are good looking but I've seen them on so many IS that they looked out of place

Well I have stock chromies and was looking to go to an 18 and thought these may be a nice switch.

sometimes a nice common OEM wheel on a completely different vehicle looks fresh, and by fresh I mean new, not that other fresh!

IS350 wheels? G37S wheels? Altima SE-R wheels? Infiniti M45 wheels?
Why...?

the OEM wheels are usually of good quality and can be had very inexpensively

Valid point; at least if you are going to get another vehicle's OEM wheels, make sure they are at the same level if not from a much nicer car. i.e. not altima SE-R wheels.

yeah, they are easily obtainable, low cost, and an upgrade over stocks.

i hear what you're saying brian, but not everybody can afford $2k wheels. i swapped my stock type-s wheels for 19" g35 forged rays (straight trade) and i think they look good. sure...they're from an infiniti...but who the hell cares? they're larger wheels, forged, less weight, an all around win.

i do have my eyes on some other nice wheels, i'm just trying to find a good deal on them. for the time being, these will do just fine.

Lexus wheels have smaller hub size don't they do they have to be bored out to 64.1. Come correct me if I'm wrong. To me, that would be a waste and I'd just go with aftermarket

^ I would like to know that! Those pictures are of a lexus OEM wheel on a TL and there was no mention of needing to enlarge the center bore? unless I am missing something.

Or do what you want to do, since it is your car. BTW, it will probably look good IMO.

i agree with that...but if you don't have to spend any money at all to upgrade, why not?

17" stock type-s cast wheels OR 19" forged wheels?

there are a lot of "other cars wheels" that i would not put on my TL, but i think the G35 forged rays look dope on my car...and it was a straight trade, so it's not like i paid anything for them.

i certainly would not buy another cars wheels tho.

oh yea totally if its just a straight swap id upgrade to larger rims... the TL's stock rims are ehhhhh so anything forged and larger is better so with that i agreee... i just wouldnt go drop $ to buy new from a distributor i didnt realize it was a swap anb such
