Ingalls rear camber kit install

I have a question about installing the ingalls rear camber kit. For the bolt that goes through the end of the arm farthest away from the wheel, do you just take the nut off and hammer the bolt out or do you have to unscrew the bolt too? I was trying to take it out when installing my coilovers and it wouldn't budge. Thanks guise.

There is too much tension on the bolt. you could try to hammer it out, worst case Is that you have to buy another bolt if the threads mess up.

Try to relieve the tension by pushing on the hub assembly. Kinda like tilting the bottom of the rotor inwards. Wiggle it around and see if that helps any.

sawzall and metal cutting blade with thin teeth. you'll need to cut the bolt off, and replace it with a new bolt AND new nut.

they get frozen in place from the factory because of an inner rubber bushing.

OP, literally just did this install this weekend. Go to the Honda dealership now and get 2 of these bolts - Part #: 52387sdaa00. If you have an angle grinder, get a 4" metal cut-off wheel and cut the sonbitches off on both sides. I tried everything under the sun to try to pop those OEM bolts out and it's impossible. Some people will say that they have done it by repeatedly twisting that bolt but I recommend not wasting your time. If you do attempt to hammer the bolt off, be careful you don't hit the frame where that arm is mounted to and bend it and throw off your suspensions geometry. You will royally mess your car up if you do that.

I didn't have to replace the nuts/washers - you might have to. I suggest taking the nuts into the dealership when you get new bolts and making sure that they thread on easily. Oh, and if you plan on installing coilovers at a later time, make sure that you put anti-seize on those same bolts so that you can easily get them off next time.

^you are supposed to replace the nuts/washers because the nuts are lock-tite nuts...meaning when you remove the old one it is no longer good anymore.

I went to a Honda dealer on Saturday and they wanted $18 per bolt. lol I'll just order them from acuraoemparts or something for like $6.

And are these the only hard ones to get off or are the ones for the other arms hard as well?

^it's just that one bolt/nut/washer on that one end of that arm. so, you'll need 2 of everything per side.

Thanks Aaron that slipped my mind completely. My washers were okay and completely intact so I didn't replace those either.

The nut is a replaced part anytime it is removed (per the manual)
The bolt will need to be replaced because you will have to cut it off.

The cam washer can be re-used but if yours is banged up or rusted they are cheap to just replace all at once and be done.

This is the hardest bolt on the suspension and its the ONLY one I have ever had problems with.

I have cut this exact bolt on my 07 TL, 97 Accord, couple of civics.
All Honda's have this rear toe stupidity.
