Would the Infiniti G35 rims fit onto a 2004 acura TL 6MT?

 

That's an interesting question, as I have both a 3G TL and a G35, and I put shoes on my G35, and still have the stock G35 rims sitting in the Garage.

Are you talking about sedan wheels or coupe wheels? I haven't tried putting my coupe wheels on our TL, becuase I figured the offsets are all wrong, because the wheels are +30mm offset. I think the TL rims are like +42 or something like that.

I suppose when I get home from my business trip, I could just stick it on the TL just for giggles to see how it looks.... I'll post some pics.... I won't get home till this weekend tho...

I was just interested in doing this to be different. And I really like how the G35 rims look... Im not sure how the sedan rims look but I LOVE the coupe ones....

yes the coupes come with brembos..... I guess I'll just need to find the specs of the rims.. and post them up on the boards to see if they will fit our 6MT's

 

I remember seeing a pic of a TL on this board with the Infiniti M35/45 rims so it might possible to fit the G35 rims on the TL.

 

The OEM 19" on G35 coupe is staggered. The front is 19x8 with 30 offset and the rear is 19x8.5 with 33 offset. If the center bore is at least 64.1 mm, the front wheels will fit and should clear the brakes. The rear might be OK as well.

I don't think you can use the tires though. Their overall diameter is too large for the car. Just get straight 245/35 R19 tires for all 4.

These are the 18" ones... Would these fit/clear brembos?

 

I assume so because 03-05 G35 6MT also has Brembo brakes. I think Nissan's centerbore is larger than Honda's, so the wheels should fit.

You don't want the 19"? There are a few for sale on eBay right now.

 

I haven't actually seen anyone say... "YES, they will fit!!" I have a lead on a set of 19's... I just need to ensure they will fit!

Yes. Both use 5x114.3. I had a G35 and had rims on it. I installed them for a short period on my TL and then sold them to Kracker.

Now the only issue is the HUB. Nissan hubs are bigger than Hondas. You will need a hub centric ring for the wheels to they don't vibrate.
