If you caught up on other coilover threads.... tein SS won't allow you to slam like others. shop around azine... your answers are floating in the suspension section.

I've had both megan and tein.
Depending on what you're looking for, is what is best.

For cheap, super low and firm ride megan/ form and function / ht spec

For more money (usually), softer ride, easier to adjust, go with Tein.

That said, I love my tein...they're great.
Also, the search thing...for sure...this topic in particular has been discussed ad nauseum.

"You" is spelled wrong also. Just saying. No reason to show favoritism to the word "agree" and then allow "you" to be disrespected. Do you argee??

I agree.

I didn't know TEIN added a "S" to the end of their company's name either.

I know what you mean. I have BC Racing coilovers and they get no play on Acuarazine. It must be that Kool-Aid thing

This is why I am careful to read several *different* forums when researching something. It is too easy to find this kool-aid / clan type of thinking among closed groups of people.

Ive been on here for a week now and def noticed the "clan" type issues. Almost like getting paid to push certain products.

A lot of the time people don't want to be the guinea pig for a new product. If you have XXX number of people who have a product and love it, not a lot of people will go out and get the alternative product.

I'm not defending the actions made by others, I'm just giving my

In personal example above...

Honestly, Ksport was the one I couldn't remember...I thought of HT Spec after the fact! Was just based on my memory and what I personally have had. I'm not fanboi of any product...if it's awesome, it's awesome...no way around that...and sometimes awesome this go around will suck 5 years from now. Plus, people are always looking for different things...I was looking to get rid of wheel gap but not slam...and wanted as close to oem ride as possible...TeinS argeeabbly fit the bill. See, and if you see my post...I said if you want X, then this is the way to go, if you want Y, then this is the way to go. This is all based on reading and my own personal experience.

Basically...mono vs. twin tube...all those others have stiffness adjustment at a much cheaper pricepoint and also and generally include tophats and preload adjustment on the springs..

If I were within 15 minutes, I'd add Ksport

If you're looking for ride comfort and a reasonable drop TEIN SS are the perfect choice. If you want a wider range of lowering and damping, a sportier ride, and a better price check out our new XLR8 ISC coilovers.

^^ yeah, pretty much. I decided a long time ago though, on previous cars, that if I was going to lower, I was going to save until I had full suspension. Blows my mind that you can get all this in a set with full functionality for cheaper than a set of name brand springs and shock combos.

Adjustability wins, hand down. I think we can ALL ARGEE on that!

at a 1000 bucks...there are a LOT of options, brother...
contact some of our vendors like exelerate and heeltoe and get some pricing and have them give you some advice.

Steven, you ruined it!

well in all seriousness; it's something you kind of have to try and see what happens. Unless you have friends with coilover suspensions that you can get a feel for.
But I might love my KSports; and some might hate them for a certain reason.
Same with other brands.you won't know until you read some reviews; and jump on one you think you miiight like. :twocents:

in my experience, with my car almost on the lowest TEIN setting and set to pretty soft on the rebound...I feel like my car rides pretty close to how it did in stock form.

Quick Reply: I'm looking for coilovers-Tein SS seems to be the best. U agree??
