under the owners manual page chapter modifications, acura states that adding a larger wheel will damage vsa and effect the traction making it very dangerous. so im not deciding to go with 19 or 20 inch rims with machine face or polish lips, i just want the aspec 18x8 wheels, chrome if that. can someone show me a few picture of this wheel on a 07 or 08 tls

^ it doesnt hurt the car.. if you run an 18" rim with a 40 series tire it is the same as running a 19" rim with a 35 series tire car doesnt know the difference

i want the accessory wheel i dont believe this. the weight and balance of the wheel make a difference. large rims use stick on weights when the o.e acura wheel use a clip-on plus stick on adhesive weight. stuff like that matters. i still want the chrome aspec wheel

well just use your imagination you know what an aspec rim looks like now imagine it in chrome.... but if you get them chromed that extra weight might mess up your car .... uh ohhhhh

Got to give you a lot of credit, after the OP disagreed with your sound reasoning and threw in an unnecessary remark, you then went out of your way to not only supply specific threads, but also wish him well on his search.

Wish we could all could maintain a calm and have this type of response after some negativity.

Also, to the OP, you don't make friends bashing their ride as everone's likes/dislikes are different. Also, as time goes by, you'll find that the guys and gals on the Forum will be able to supply a wealth of information when needed, so don't burn your bridges behind you.

^ yea thanks i kinda got bothered by his remarks but i figured he is new to the site so i will be nice and try to help out...

it is true everyone has there own likes and dislikes some like this OP like the OEM look which is fine and others like me like the aftermarket look ... there are many many people on this board who provide very helpful information and like you said it's always best to be nice to everyone because who knows what info down the road they might help you out with.
