I want to get Enkei Rims, have a few questions though.

OK, so I want to get a set of 17" Enkei TFR rims for my TL.

Got a few questions before I start buying stuff though. I haven't switched rims on a Honda/Acura is a very long time. There was a guy here who had recently switched to Enkei rims, but he didn't return my PM, Grumble grumble. Anyways...

1. 35 mm is the correct offset, right? My car is totally stock.
2. Will stock lugnuts work with these rims? If not, what kind of lugnuts do I need?
3. Acura hub diameter is 64.1, these have a hub bore of 72.6.. Hubcentric rings... do I need to get these?
4. I want to get new TPMS sensors while I'm swapping the tires over. Probably going to go with rockauto. Which rockauto choice will seamlessly jive with the Acura TPMS computer?

I've got two sets of TFR. I love them.
17x8 +35 with the stock 235/45. Used aftermarket TPMS and works well. Total weight is 40.95 lbs.

here’s 17x8 on front and was testing out 18x9.5 on rear. The 18x9.5 did not work on front like I hoped. Could only clear type-s brembos with minimum 5mm spacer. But even with natural camber of being lowered slightly just too much poke on the front. But loved the concave look of the 18x9.5. I imagine a base could work with the 9.5's.

What width are you looking at with a +35 offset?

The offset by itself doesn't tell you much of anything.

No, stock lug nuts will not work. You need M12x1.5 cone seat lug nuts. I recommend buying ones with an external 17mm hex. I also recommend buying steel closed end ones. Muteki SR35 are good quality and reasonable cost.

You don't need hub centering rings. But get them if you want them. It makes putting wheels on slightly easier.

Yes, sensors from Rockauto meant for your car will pair easily.

Oh forgot to mention they are stock width.. 17 x 8. Just wanting to replace my stock rims which are curb rashed pretty bad.

The TFR 17x8 +35 clear brembos? What are you lowered on btw?

Lowered on KW v1

TFR 17x8 +35 do clear Brembo's (front wheel as shown in pic with 235/45, no spacers)
18x9.5 +38 only cleared with a 5mm spacer but too much poke for me (18x9.5 on back in pic with no spacer).

I now have 18x8.5 +38 on it and they clear Brembo's too and can take 255/35. No spacers needed. I can get a pic sometime.

Does anyone know of any 17 inch aftermarket options that clear the brembos?

That rear concave wheel looks good. Would the 18x9.5 wheel have too much poke even without the 5mm spacer?

Yes, the concave TFR's look great. I wished they worked and might have but too much work on getting the fit too look right. I think it would still have a little too much at +38. If they offered a +45 that cleared the Brembo's that could have been perfect. like this: https://c2.staticflickr.com/6/5733/2...1ec1db65_o.png from this thread https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-t...-870412/page6/

This pic is of base TL and no brembo's - different wheel and tire but same specs I was hoping the TFR might come close to.

Well I'm all done now. The Schrader TPMS sensors linked up with the computer no problem!

Looks good. Is that 17x8 +35? If you can post some more angles.

Yeah 17 x 8 +35. I'll get some more in a bit.
