Think its a freakin waste of money and looks stupid to have 20's on a sports sedan like the TL. the largest i'd go is 19's... which will still give you barely enough tire wall to have a decent ride. With 20's, it will look like the car is on stilts... personally i throw up a little in my mouth when i see a nice car w/ rims that are too big for the car. It doesn't matter if it will fit.. will it look good is the question. to achieve optimum stance, the car should be lowered after new rims/tires.

20's are the way to go bro! Dont let anyone talk you down in what you really want. You have to get nice wheels and a nice drop for the 20's to look perfect.

Is that guy from NJ? Im sure I can find a lot of lame things on you that I disagree on, but im not going to go out looking like a fool criticizing you. Let the guy decide for himself on acheiving his dreams.

Ahem, with the right drop and offset, 20" can be pretty amazing on the TL:

its obvious that it will rub. thats not practical... if you want to put on some 20's and leave the car parked for people to gawk at, more power to you... but there is noo way in hell that is not going to rub taking a curve.... no tire wall. the ride must be crap.

there is always a price to pay when looking good in any hobby. And that balance is met with 20's with loosing a little gratification in the ride. Some of us prefer the teddy bear rim look, while others love the tight and agressive fit. The image is your choice for YOUR car. Gawk because thats all you will ever do.
