HT Spec Type 1 V2 Coilovers

Just bought those new HT Spec Type 1 Version 2 from Heeltoe and I got them in yesterday afternoon. Couldn't wait so me and a couple of friends installed it last night. I'll update you guys later tonight with my opinions and pics.

Try to find that thread with instructions for removing the rear seats. It'll save you some precious time. GL!

^lol...yup.

2 bolts behind the headrests (10mm) and 3 bolts holding the backseat down. 1 on each corner of the seats at the bottom and 1 on the right hand side about 10 inches from the corner bolt. (10mm)

the bottom seats come out easy. you just have to feel for 2 tabs that you have to pull out and on the bottom front of the seats n then lift straight up. after that, they come right out. take the bottom seats out first, then the rear back.

installation was not bad at all with the diy from here. I have it set from collar to collar on all four at 4.5" and it still dropped it pretty low. Marcus from heeltoe was kool ass hell, they have great customer service and return all my calls and emails. Will do business with again.

I have only drove about 100miles on it since install and I must say the ride was pretty smooth with these new version 2. It's not very firm and not very soft either, pretty well balanced ride. Its not a stock ride but pretty good for a lowered car. I'll update you guys some more on ride quality after labor day weekend, I will be taking these badboys out of state about 5 hours away, so we'll see how it rides.

Oh, wheels specs are Volks GT-C 19x8.5front and 19x9.5rear with 235/35/19 tires

Thanks! thats almost on the highest setting without going below the minimum .5" of thread that must be threaded in to the bottom that goes into the fork. I just got those wheels, my wife would kill me...lol...

So far the ride is very smooth, not harsh or firm, but not soft either just right. I'm glad I went with these coilovers no regrets so far.
