How are my tires? (Pic)

I am 21,000 miles. Do i need new ones? This is the front left tire BTW.

the tread seems pretty damn low, so i think its time to swap out. those look like the el42s, which should have been rid of a lOng time ago

You can see cross bars in the grooves. These are wear indicators. When these indicators are even with the tread and not recessed as on picture, the tire has to be changed.
