how much are u guys paying for ur aftermarket rims???
i really want to get some 19 inch rims. but i barely see people saying how much they got it for. i'm particularly interested in volks! or axis. i've seen the volks website and most of those rims are $2,000 - $3000 without tires. i'm sure i can get 19s in the bronx for $1000 or less with tires, but it would'nt be such a top brand.
just wondering if people were able to get it cheaper. where did u get ur rims and how much?? don't forget to mention the size

Just so you know... when I see a car with rims, I can tell right away if they are quality or not. Its really up to you if you want to just add rims to increase size, but if you also want a good quality, you have to pay the price. Its like any other brand market.. Nike is a good example.. you can tell right away that its a Nike shoe.. but with the immitations, the quality is not there. Its your choice.

Just do your homework. A 19" wheel can cost from $200-1000 each wheel. The price can explained by quality, brand prestige, forged vs. cast, 1 vs 3 piece, weight (or lack thereof), finish (chrome vs silver vs polish vs paint), custom fit (vs universal and use adapters), etc. etc.
Bottom line is you have to choose what balance of those factors you appreciate and are willing to pay for.

Just received my 20's TSW Thruxtons with Falken Azenis ST115 yesterday and they look awesome. The lip on the rim is about 3 inches or so. I ordered through my friends shop down here in Mobile,AL for about $2000 shipped mounted and balanced. Which isn't too bad I guess. I'll try and post some pictures up when I have the chance to take pictures with them on te car.

I totally agree with you guys, it's more then just having bigger rims, because to people who know cars they'll know the quality of the rim too... I guess it depend on what your budget is, if you decide to go with Volk they're kinda expencive... I paid $3,500 for my TE-37 with tires. But they are really light for some 19's.
