I was just wondering how anyone went about getting acura to replace the crappy tires and if so what did acura do about it. Also if you replaced the tires with another type which one is the best to go with if I have to buy my own.

if you have the time and energy, then go for it.
i would just get new ones on your own and enjoy the car.
i think you can get the Falken Ziex 512 for about $100 or less.
they were rated as the #1 all season tire by Consumer Reports.

do a search and you will see reviews of the tires. for the money,
i think they are well worth it.

You are barking up the wrong tree to get your tires replaced, ACS is nearly impossible to work with.Try calling Bridgestone customer service at 800-367-3872 and tell them your problems and they will probably help you. Talk to them about upgrading your tires to a better series of bridgestones
Bridgestone is a good company and the customer service is much better than Acura. Hope this helps.

Acura can and will replace them, but there is a series of tests and a very intense test drive that takes over and hour to do to determine IF they need replacing

I went to my dealer in Downey and hope they will change my EL42 (PVC to TU2). I was told that nothing wrong with PVC and nobody had requested that before. And this could not be done no matter what!
I am wondering anyone in metro LA did get the change from PVC to TU2. And please advise the dealership so that I can try again.
