I really like some Dvinci wheels but they oly come in 20, 22, and 24. Can anyone tell me how 20's fit on a TL and how the ride is, and how much I would have to lower to have clean tight sporty look.

 

this somewhat relates. theres a tsx with 20x8 and its lowered with no rubbing and ride is pretty good.. search for tsxmaya he had the 20's... i know this aint a tl but its pretty close.. i dont think anyone has 20's on a tl yet so thats why i directed you to the tsx...

 

There is more room in the '04 TL wheel well than in the 2nd gen and 20" can fit on the 2nd gen. Although the sidewall of your tire is going to be EXTREMELY small. Basically your ride quality is going to be far from the OEM rolling stock.

20s will be fine....what suspension are you planning on using? Why D'vincis? I feel like those tend to be more for trucks. Which model of D'vincis?

I have a TL on 20x8 chrome valocity wheels aspen white camel int. 5 peed AT. I have no problems with rubbing, they don't stick out of the wheel wells, they Tuck in real nice.

i doubt the ride quality will be good, the bigger the rim the more harsh the ride is gonna be.

 

I paid $2426.05 w/tax. Yeah you do feel the road a little more but its not by any means a rough ride. its not like your cutting the springs and slammin it to the ground. im running 20 by 8's on my tsx with no problems at all and im lowered 2.5 in the front and 2 in the rear ,The only thing is my wheels were custom made for my tsx ,but if they can fit on my lil car they can fit on a TL with no problem , david

 

tsx on dubs, what is the offset for your wheels? sticks out a lot for 8s. in a good way. guess wouldn't look the same on TL b/c our stocks are 8s.

 

its a 6.5 inner lip with 1.5 outter lip and medium back spacing with a 38 offset i had to fill out a long as form for the wheels when i had them made
