Help with wheel sizing?

Hi, new to the forum here however I'm also on s2ki if anyone is over there as well.

05' TL Base w/ Nav

I'll admit I'm not the best at fitment: Can I run 18 x 8.5 +35 offset with 235/40/18 tires all the way around?

Thanks for the Help!

Thanks!

Would a 235/40/18 or a 245/40/18 be better as far as the tire goes?

if you aren't lowered then it doesn't matter. I would go with 245 so I got more rim protection

That was going to be my next question. Looking to do rims and lower at the same time.

I have a promo code and can get:
Eibach Pro Kit Lowering Springs which say 1"F/1"R for $179.06

What tires should I go with doing that? and what kind of drop is that really going to give?

Thanks!

i've got 235/45/17 and the eibach pro kit. the drop is subtle, but noticeable for sure. i am happy with the way it looks. however, i will be pairing them with koni yellow sp3 shocks in the near future so i can adjust height when i want to.

here are some pics
