Help with Tire Sizes?

Ok -- I want to get 2 winter tires -- I have the factory P205/60R16 on...

The snow tires I want (closest sizes) are:
225/60HR16
205/55HR16

Can either of those be safely mounted and used on the front with the originals on the back?

Or can you not mix sizes like that?

If you can't I'll have to go with the

Bridgestone
Blizzak MZ-02
or
Bridgestone
Blizzak WS-50

The ones I wanted are Dunlop SP Winter Sport M2
because they have better wear ratings than the Blizzaks
thanks for ur help

Hey Tommy. May I ask why you are looking for only 2 tires?

Hey turd, have you ever driven a FWD car in snow? I can see why you would need snow tires on your thunderbird, but on your TL-P I think the tires on there will be fine for ya. FWD cars handle great in the snow. I say try it out first, then if you think you need snow tires then get them . Thats my advice

FWD and winter driving

I don't have any winter driving problems with all my FWD vehicles with the OEM factory stock all season tires here in MN. Just make sure the tires still have plenty of thread left and don't drive too fast in a snow storm or icy condition
