Help! Massive grind on one side with Eibach springs
I just put Ebock springs on last week. The ride, well, I would not call it better then stock. This is the first time I have ever dropped a car and I was expecting great things, I think I'm a bit disappointed. The car looks a lot better but tends to feel more "springy" now. When I put my 18" wheels with Yok ZR tires, the handling came alive. I found a new problem today. I had a few passengers in the car and the rear passenger side grinds like crazy (with one it would grind just a bit). I have 225 40 18"s and am very surprised at this. The rear drivers side has absolulty no problems. Anyone have ideas why one side grinds to hell but the other is perfectly fine? I would take a VERY soft corner on the passenger side and it would grind like crazy. I would take an EXTREEMLY hard corner on the drivers side without a single chirp.
i meant to ask if you had the prokit or the sportlines...S is red, PK is black.
i have the prokits and the rear of the car was dropped uneven from side to side...the driver side lower than the passenger. however, the front drop looked alright. this is kinda odd since on previous 2000 accord and 95 civic cars, the front drop was uneven with the driver side lower.
anyway, i raised the driver rear with a spacer tube and the drop seems more even (though still slightly lower). due to my offset, i still rub on hard turns and what-nots, but i do not normally rub on flat, straight roads. and this is just by myself, so with a loaded car you would expect to rub more...and if you are lowered even more with sportlines then rubbing would be a problem.

yea you just have to trim the plastic piece on the rear bumper, its your offset that is causing the rubbing, believe it or not, I shaved my rear fenders and cut bunch of the plastic on the rear bumper....eliminated the rubbing...

Where the bumper and the rear quarter panel come together in the wheel well there is a bit of the "plastic bumper that sticks way out. You cut it with clippers or file it of.
