Question Help!!!

Hey guys...
I need your help with one thing.....I just order some 18" rims )(18 x 7.5) with 225/40/18 and the offset is +42. I have the H & R sport springs on...will it rub? Or do I need to go to 215/40/18?

Please help!

THanks!:wow:

you might rub a little since that is almost the same setup as me i have eibach prokits instead). 215/40 is too narrow and the rolling diameter will be smaller (speedo will be off). you can also go 225/35 but the same problems occur. 225/40 is the best and closest size, but there is the concern about load ratings. if you want to prevent as much rubbing as possible, get wheels with a higher offset. 45 is good for 7.5" wide rims, but you can go as high as 50 for the best results.

but it looks like you got them already, so just make the car work for the wheels. you might have to trim a little bit of the bumper material and that should do a lot to alleviate rubbing. a camber kit can make rubbing worse so be aware...sometimes, you will need to trim even more.
