Having some issues after drop and camber kits. Need some help.

I could really use some help folks. I put some Tein H Specs on my 06 with the stock shocks for about 3 weeks. I went to get it aligned and they couldn't because it needed camber kits and the rears were frozen. No problem, I bought Skunk2 Upper control arms, SPC rear and new OEM arms an bolts for the rear. I also bought Koni Yellows to replace my stock shocks. I had a local shop put everything on and got it aligned without any issues. At first glance the front looked much lower and was rubbing like crazy. I cut out the tabs in the inner fenders and check to see what perch the front springs were set to and it was on the uppers in the front. It still rubs. I'm not sure if something was screwed up during the installation or what. I'm running Rays 99B's 18x8.5 +30 with 245/4018's.

Here are a few more pics of the current set up. Does everything look ok?

the problem is with the htechs and koni's, it dropped it too LOW.
if you want to keep this set up, you're going to have to alleviate the problem by stretching tire...

Do the Koni's on the stock spring perch settings still provide a drop?

I would personally check the spring part #s and make sure they're not installed wrong. Rears on the front, and vice versa. That doesn't look/sound right to me.

Definitely double check all your part numbers. I'm having trouble viewing the images but judging from the thumbnails, everything seems to be installed correctly.

This is a good example why coilovers might have been a better choice. The adjustable ride height means you can dial in the drop to work with whatever wheel/tire combo you're running.

Probably put it on the highest perch and if that doesn't work run more camber in the front to prevent rubbing

Front is currently on the highest setting. I'm thinking about just putting the stock springs back on and going to the lower perches.

Would going to a 235/40/18 help in the front?

that does not look right, if you have he Koni Yellow on the stock (upper) perch it should not be that low, I am on S-tech which should be 1/2 lower than the H-tech you have and it is not that low.

What could possibly be causing it to be that low?

Could the suspension not being preloaded be the culprit?

from the pictures provided, it looks like its installed correctly.
i also doubt they mixed up the rear and front springs, as the rear is always higher than the fronts.

the only time my koni's rubbed is when one of the shocks went bad.
my drivers side rear tire rubbed like hell because of the shock

but your case is different as BOTH L&R FRONT are too low.

Wouldn't they have to preload after installing the control arms etc?

it's pre-loaded once you screw on the top hat.
the top hat keeps the springs at pre-loaded height and stiffness, there is no way to adjust this because the koni's are not fully sleeved.

there is no adjustments to be made. once the spring is on, it's pre-loaded.

note* I used the lowest perch
