Has anyone purchased wheels from "wheelmax.com"?

Alright the summer is coming and I'm shopping for rims. It seems tha wheelmax.com has alot of 19" rims. My only concern is can these guys be trusted, has anyone used them before and if not them then who. I would apreciate your feedback and any advise. By the way what size would better suit my ride with a 1.25 - 1.75 drop? Holla Back!:flamer:

So who? or can I better find a good price set at one of my local speed shops in northern jerz or NYC? and what size is the right size? ( 19's are what I want but the widths are either 7.5 or 8?)

Check with www.whalentires.com
I've bought stuff from them before and they are pretty friendly. You can call them and ask for Steve if you have problems or questions. I'm not sure what car you need the wheels for so I can't give you much comment. As for WheelMax, go to the BBB site and you will see some complaints with those clowns.

Wheelmax

Well I just got my new 19's about a month a go from Wheelmax.com, they are based out of Miami so I was able to drive down South and pick them up, If you are worried about the operation dont be, their warehouse is bigger than life, with a huge sales staff and phones ringing off the hook. Everybody was really cool, and I dont see how one would have a problem with any of their products.

That's nice to know that they've since change their way of doing business. I know a lot of people here on the board as well as other's had problems ranging from scratch rims, wrong size tires, wrong bolt patterns, refuse to refund, missing items such as lug nuts from the packages and rude customer services.

Off tha Hook! I like that look and I did see those rims and wondered what they would look like on my TL. But being from the Northern NJ and Nyc area I need that bling bling look it just seems to look so much better at night through the city with the music bangin! Hey quick response and I apreciate that. I have one last question I dont see in your ride's specs the amount you lowered your ride, can you hit me with that info it would be much appreciated! Thanx in advance!

wow, notstr8..........your car looks great, I really like those wheels! As for the wheelmax debate, I've know people who have had no problems with them at all, but I also know quite a few people (myself included) who have had negative experiences with them. Even if the wheels might be a little cheaper there, I'd rather spend $100 more somewhere else and at least know the transaction will go smooth.

One of my co-workers got his Katana Destiny's from them, their based out of Miami i think he said... Real easy people to work with, he had no complaints. I looked there a while ago, have the site bookmarked for when i have the $$$ to get wheels... in 10 or 20 years....
