Has anyone only dropped the front ???
Has anyone only dropped the front of their Acura TL. I started the install of my Tein S tech springs and only got the front done and now I'm debating on even dropping the ass. I have people in my back seat every weekend and if the rear drops like the front I'm afraid that it will rub. I'll post pics tell me what you think.

I ran around with only the front Koni yellows on the low setting and the car looked fine. Stock the front was higher than the rear, couple that with 100lbs of subs in the rear and it looked good. The rear was slightly higher than the front but I didn't mind a 1/2" rake, it made it look more aggressive.
Now I have the a-spec springs with the Konis on low in the front and stock in the rear and it's pretty even front to rear but I can't make up my mind which way looked better.
Getting past the looks, having a soft spring in the rear and stiffer up front will increase the already annoying understeer. Cornering at the limit will likely be lower than stock. You can offset some of this with a RSB.

do it all or don tdo it at all......you will break a lot of shit on the car if u dont do the rear springs as well....but i dont recommend using stock struts. the s techs are super bouncy

bro i dropped the car on s techs when i first bought it...i did everything the manual said... used the stock struts though....i can tell u horror stories you wouldnt believe because it trashed the struts then went the mototr mounts then the bushings the axles....almost everything that had to do with suspension....control arms upper n lower... brakes wearing out faster than normal tire wear i went through a set of Pzeros in 2 months...... the drop is mean looking and I loved it but i wouldnt do any suspension work using the stock components on the car.... it has a fixed camber and caster if i recall correctly. any slight imperfection sets the car into a mess from hell. plus the ride quality sucked it wasnt stiff it was bouncy but you cant expect anything from stock struts and aftermarket springs....but i will tell u this much.....you can take turns at 130+ like you're in a race car...not suggesting u do it but that was the only highlight i had from them.....now the aspecs are just right for when i drive the car.

I agree with that. That's why I'm a 50k mile shock replacer since it will wear everything out quickly when they go bad.
My stock shocks on stock springs went completely out on the front. If I hit a speed bump going as slow as possible it would bottom to the bumpstops and bounce 3 times. That's a ton of wear on all suspension components.
