Those look so much like Audi wheels to me. except with 5 spokes vs 6 spokes.
But they are nice.. don't think anyone has them yet on a TL.

Adam, when R U supposed to get your Alstadts? Can't wait to see them.

Thanks!

I'm considering going to 17's. 18's are a bit too cumbersome for driving thru LA streets. There are waaaaaaaaaaaay too many pot holes in LA. And I can't always pay attention to the road especially if I'm tired.

I haven't decided yet though. I'm just looking into 17's in case I do make up my mind.

There aren't that manny good looking 17" rims out there except for the type S rims. I dig those a lot but I don't want to look like a Type S. I'll do some more research.

That's something I didn't notice before...

what are the downsides to not having the "lip"?? Type S rims do not appear to have the "lip" either.

Tim e-mailed me saying he was going to check on them for me. He said not to get my hopes up too much cuz they are coming from Japan. He originally stated 5-6 weeks so this week or next week if all goes well. I can't wait either.

No problem, just that they could rub a curb easier, so I wanted a deeper inset. Plus a polished lip brings out the bling more.

Lip or no lip, if you hit a curve, a part of your rim will take it. I don't see how that matters. But when you say it's for "bling bling"... then I sorta see your point.

Rims with no lips sorta look flat and plain.

Dude,
Don't change down. The Volks look so much sweeter than those Italias. You've got to suffer for the good of your car.

SLVR TL,

That sucks about the pothole situation. If you're going 17" I would recommend the Volk Racing SE37-K 17 x 7.5 +48 or of course the Mugen MF10 17 x 7.0 +48.
You've got stand out from the crowd!

I can't wait for my Campionato SS7s!

Thanks for the info! I will look into those rims as I have never seen them before.

I haven't decided if I am going to part with my rims yet or not. I do love my rims. They really stand out in the crowd too. Unless there is a good replacement in 17", I won't part with my Cap SS7. We'll see how it goes.

Oh yea, congrats on your puchase of SS7!! Post pix after you slap them on!
