H-tech and A-spec comparison please!!

I hardly ever start threads. But I just couldn't find enough pics for my visual pleasure. Thought it would help others out in the future as well.
If its been done and I just couldn't find it(trust me, I looked), mods please merge threads.......

I'm really trying to find more pics of people on H techs. I only found like 2, and that was Predatorbird and some other guy with an AM 3G(forget name).
Reason why I ask for Aspec comparison is b/c some people say its same height and I really don't believe it. Plus, it may help out other peeps. So please post pics and/or links of these.....

Thanks everybody!

I'd like to see this too, I'm leaning towards getting the H-Techs but I'd like to see more pictures of the drop before I make my choice.

I went with the H Techs cause they're lower than A-Spec.

Below are pictures showing the drop Before and After from Stock to H Techs on my '04 TL

How much lower the H Tech's are is barely noticeably over A Spec, its almost the same drop to the naked eye however the A Spec's will be a bit stiffer and give you noticeably better handling. To debate the drop between H Tech's and A Spec's doesnt make much sense to me because what difference is .2 or .3 of an inch going to make? The real difference in the two is the ride comfort. Always remember, when it comes to suspension the better handling you want the more comfort you have to give up and vice versa.

A-Spec suspension is not low; it's lower (than stock), but not low.

To people on the streets, they can't tell you're "lowered" on A-Spec suspension, but to you, you can tell it's lowered a bit.

Interesting that Aspec is stiffer than the H. You know this how? You've had or ridden in both? I hope the H is softer...that's what I'm really interested in anyways.
Also, "to debate the drop between H techs and A specs" not making sense to you, i apologize.. BUT, why would anybody compare any two types of suspension...? The reason these two are comparable is b/c they have similar drops. Same reason people debate S techs and H&R race springs.... Height AND comfort are the things to compare.
But thanks for the input. Appreciated

The real question is which aspec springs/shocks to get, auto or manual. Do the manual trans aspec springs lower an auto car more?

Yep, the MT A-Spec suspension on an Auto will lower the front ever so slightly more than the rear. Its been said here a hundred times tho, if your just after a drop than the A-Spec suspension isn't going to do much for you.

HOWEVER, and its a big however....
I think they have one part # now that supersedes the two MT and AT part numbers.

^I believe your right. I think there might just be a single Part # for all 3G's now weather its an AT,MT Base or Type-S. I'm in the process of ordering mine and I just asked Tim a similar question.

My car currently has stock suspension which is soon going to be replaced with FF Type ll coils but a friend of mine has the A Spec and its noticeably stiffer than mine and he doesnt have as much wheel gap as me. As far as H Tech goes on the website and from customer reviews they are known to not be stiff, even the Tien S Techs that give a nice lower drop arent even stiff per say so do the math. With the H Tech's your car will ride almost the same as stock.

The H-Techs are not stiff. Paired with stock shocks, they ride like OEM, but less floaty over bumps.
