Good Tires in 225/55-16 for my 1999 TL
Hi allz. I need good tires for my 1999 TL. What would you suggest? They have to be Performance Tires. 225/55-16.
They also have to be good in both wet and dry conditions.
Any reply would be appreciated..
Maybe you'll say i should post in the Tire/Wheel Forum.. well, i already did it but noone replied so i post here. Thx.

I purchased a set of 225/55-HR16 Bridgestone RE950s for my bone-stock 99 TL during the winter here in Chicago. They perform very well on both dry and wet surfaces. The snow traction was decent for this "all-weather performance tire." Corners can be taken a bit faster now. Very fun. The only downside is a slight increase in noise, but I expected that from the more aggressive tread. I highly recommend them. The price is right, too. You can purchase them from this site in the Tires & Rims section.

I have the P7000 SS...
pretty decent traction in the snow, great tires in the wet/dry... have had them for like 30k, now... and I do notice that the grip is not as good as before, but then again, it's winter over here... and the outside temp is low, so not a very good comparsion...
But I can tell you that when I first got the tires, I went to the trackand the car handles WAY better then before, and the car can pull like a lot more extra G:wow:
The high speed corner... I could induce bodyroll that's like twice as strong as I could with those stock tires!!! the steering feels better, too...
only downside is that it does generate more noise...
btw you will not scratch your rims no more... cuz the tires are wider...
