Go with 10" or 10.5" wheels in rears?

Should I go with option A) 19x10+23 on 235/35 or option B) 19x10.5+29 with a 245/35 in the rears?

My main concern is with the 10.5 touching the strut if I camber it too much to make it flush. I remember a member saying he could only dial in -2 degrees in the rear and sometimes it would hit the strut already.

Any body have an idea what's the max camber I can run without touching the strut on 10.5 setup?

I know I can camber the 10s more without a problem.

I have seen a 10 +42 with a 265/30 tire in the rear before, so with a +29 you have plenty of room for camber.

search for member Anakalia. She is a chapter leader in San Antonio.

Thank you everyone. I'm not concerned with the rim hitting or rubbing the fender. Camber can fix that if the inner wheel clearance allows it.

I'm still debating between the vs-xx and some other work wheels I have in mind.

What do you want to run on the fronts?? Its not our car.

But I would say +23 with 15mm spacers. That way you can laugh at the HellaFlush.

I like the KindaFlush look personally.

Fronts: 19x9.5 +22 with 225/35
Rears: 19x10.0 +20 with 235/35

05_NBP_TL, any rubbing with your setup? Hard to tell but I think your rims are the varrsteon es1.1.2. I am getting the es1.1.1 with 9.5 +30 front and 10.5 rear +30. 225 up front and 235 in the rear. I have a camber kit in the rear so I'm hoping I don't have to go too negative to get this to fit without rubbing since I went +30 and not +22. Thoughts?

He is pretty low, I'm guessing in the 2.5" drop range, so I'm going to say yes, do yourself a favor and get a camber kit.

Only the front rubs when turning while on an incline. not while driving straioght. I just go slow pulling into parking lots with dips or inclines. All other driving conditions are fine.

I am running ingalls rear camber kits and Skunk2 camber arms up front. I would lower your car and put the wheels on to see if you need to adjust your camber any. Alot of members are getting away with natural camber up front and adding a rear camber kit. if you are going as low as I am I would recommend camber kits front/rear.

I went ahead and installed everything at once (wheels, coils, camber kits) then tweaked my fitment from there. Let me know if you need anything else

I never measured the factory height. I just installed and lowered to where I wanted it. Took a couple days of adjusting, driving, staring, then adjusting some more to decide where I wanted to keep it set at.

Im sitting around 24" ground to fender clearance at all four corners.

I think factory height is around 26.5 so I was spot on guessing your drop Do you ever have adult passengers in the back? At that rude hit and as flush as you are do you rub when a passenger is back there?

NOt often, have had my son and wife back there (32lbs + 117lbs). Just recent built my infinite baffle audio setup with one 12 and still have not hit at all in the rear. It is a close fitment and I still get nervous sometimes, but I have never hit the fender (rears are rolled and pulled slightly).

Its close...

Yeah, wow, that is pretty close. I'd love to see a Go-Pro video with it mounted looking at the rear wheels while driving to see how close the rim comes to hitting the fender going over bumps, etc. Glad to hear it doesn't rub though!

Any full shots of the car?

^ I have pulled onto an incline/ditch to check the clearance of the wheel. The rim cambers just enough to clear the fender. I can get a picture of it tucking the rim later on for you.
Sorry, no GoPro ( I have a Nikon D7000 that does HD video but I dont have a rig setup to do videos of rolling shots).

Pitorican and The Machine, here you go with more pics. No vids for me though .

Note: These pics are on an incline to try to imitate what the wheel looks like when it cambers inwards while driving.

Hot damn that is close! If camber was set to -3 in the rear would that give you more clearance when the wheel cambered in going over and incline or bumps?

And full pics of car, now!
