General Exclaim™ UHP

I just replaced the 19" tires on my car from Toyo Proxy T1R to General Exclaim tires. I was afraid the general wouldn't compare, since they were half the price, but they are just as good, and offer a better ride.

I had Toyo T1Rs too. I have about 5k on my Generals and they're great tires for the price.

i'm just now getting ready to switch to the T1Rs from Nankang NSII. The nankangs were good in regards to handling in multiple conditions and wear but the sidewall really didn't hold up that well so i kept bangin up my rims pretty bad, especially with 19's. But if pot holes aren't a problem i would recommend them and they only cost a fraction of the price of the Toyo's ($108). the T1Rs should resolve that problem but now I'm thinking about how well the General's measure up in that area. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I have the generals switching from khumos. I have about 5k on them now and i really like them. I was a little apprehensive at first bc they were really cheap considering they are 19s. But I have no regrets and would def get them again.

Just picked my new rims and tires up, gave them a wash and now starting 3 coats of wax on both side- that really keeps the brake dust to a minimum

My inspection of the tire:
The General tire is very well built and has a ridge t protect rims from curb rash
-
will take my camera out and return later here with tire pics
I cant wait till tomorrow- want to install them tonight- oh yeah,- I just put a new light over the garage outside- exceeeeeeelent! Back later!

This is looking from the rim center out to the tire- note the raised edge
with all the writing in the rubber- thats the rim protector band
The most interesting thing it said was Made In Chezk Republic !!

and this looks like some advanced technolgy with the extra cuts- help with water and road noise,
the big shoulder blocks aid cornering....I am going to have some fun now!!!

and this is what I use to slow all this back down

Do not have the 19s just the OEM rims; so far have 8000 miles on them and they are great. The exclaim replaced the Bridgestone HPT Potenzas and have done so flawlessly. give them a try

What's the most milage any of you have gotten from your Generals or your T1R's? I have 235x35x19 T1R's right now with 21,000 miles on them. At 18,000 miles I did a full dismount and cross rotation to flip the tread in an effort to gain more life out of them. I like the tires a lot... They are getting a little noisy in their old age but overall have ben a great tire. Not much rain in Arizona so I'm not worried about wet driving. I'm currently looking at new tires and I am really leaning towards the Nitto Invio. I know alot of people talk bad about Nitto's but I have had 2 sets of the NT555's on other cars and thought they were great tires. The Invio is the newest and best in the Nitto line and I might try them. I can only think of one AZ member with them and from his posts it seems he likes the tires. Can anyone else offer any thoughts?

I have 13-14,000 miles on my Generals, 245/35/19

I was skeptical at first because of the price, but they have been great so far.

There also a very light tire, which is great. Great price, and lightweight.

It's nice to hear more opinions on the General's. I was thinking about getting them when I first got my 19's but there wasn't too info out yet. I may look into these when my Falken's crap out.

I continue to be impressed with the grip of the generals! Dry- mid - or wet conditions it turns and stops on demand. Brakes really well now too~
