First 3G with D2 coilovers?

Possibly? I ordered new coilovers for a 2003+ accord on thursday, got home friday after work and they were already there!
My buddies did the install while I was working my damn 11 hour shift today and everything went smoothly, just had to drill in one spot they said on the top in the fronts but I am not too worried about it, it is just as safe as before. They had to take the strut bar off, so i am in the market for a new one that will fit and look good!
I will have pictures up tomorrow possibly

update on the coilovers...the ride is amazing, I have my 17's back on but they might be sold this weekend and some new wheels before long if everythng goes okay.
The ride is outstanding. I love it. The drop is probably about a 3 inch drop or so, maybe a tiny bit more in the front and the rear is about 2.5 or so. Lowest point on the car is the little black plastic thing under the car sitting about 4 horizontal fingers away from the ground, but its not too bad.
I would def. reccomend D2 to anyone

Hell yeah dude! I love my D2's. Who did you order from? Did they tell you that you had to drill into the strut tower?

I dont justify they are 'better' justbecause i do not have personal experience with megan coilovers. But I do say they are very very good! The ride is great, stance can be great. Megan and D2 have about the same drop rate.

Very curious as to the answer to this...is this because the car is dropped too much? I'm getting the same shaking from my TEIN SS's. I'm dropped to recommended drop height (tight finger in front and rear) 13" to fender or so. I can't figure it out. Anyone else? 10-50mph under acceleration also.

Yea any issue with the shaking? I'm thinking about getting some 03+ Accord coilovers but want to make sure that it's not the coilovers fault for causing the shaking. I know that koni yellow shocks and eibach springs are the same model # for 04+ TL and 03+ Accord so hopefully that isn't the issue.

i've since called Tein and apparently there is like a half inch difference in overall length of assembly and the rebound ratings are different. Etc...they said they WILL fit, but they Don't recommend it. I've since asked for a return from the used ones I bought on ebay and my new actual TL model number SS are on their way.

but that doesn't make sense with the koni yellow shocks cause the accord and tl share the exact same model number... it might be the top hat or something with the spring... o well I'll try to figure it out...

It doesn't make any sense...but I CAN tell you that TEIN has two distinct part numbers for each car. I'm thinking it will make a difference.
